JAMB Subject Combination for Prosthesis & Orthopedic Technology 2025/2026
The UTME subject combination for Prosthesis & Orthopaedic Technology in the Faculty/College of Medical/Pharmaceutical/Health Sciences is English Language, Physics, Chemistry, and Biology. However, a special consideration exists for FUTO, which requires Physics, Chemistry, and Biology.
O’LEVEL REQUIREMENT
The Direct Entry (DE) requirements for Prosthesis & Orthopaedic Technology include:
- ‘A’ level passes in two of the following subjects: Physics, Chemistry, Biology, and Mathematics.
- ND (National Diploma) Upper Credit in Prosthesis and Orthopaedic Technology.
Special considerations for Direct Entry include:
- FUTO requires at least Grade C in two of Physics, Chemistry, Biology, or Mathematics at ‘A’ level.
- An ND/HND Upper Credit in Prosthetics and Orthotics, or a First Degree in Health Sciences, is acceptable.
- JUPEB candidates must have very good passes in Chemistry, Biology, and Physics.
- NCE qualifications are not accepted.
- Candidates must also meet the standard ‘O’ level requirements.
