The subject combination for studying Mathematics and Statistics in Nigerian universities typically includes English Language, Mathematics, Physics, and either Chemistry or Biology. Some universities have special considerations:

1. MINNA accepts Geography instead of Biology.
2. CARITAS requires Mathematics, Physics, and either Chemistry or Economics.
3. PHC requires Mathematics and two subjects from Physics, Chemistry, or Economics.

For O’Level requirements, candidates need five SSC credit passes, including English, Mathematics, and at least three of Physics, Chemistry, Biology, or Further Mathematics. Specific institutions have additional considerations:
