JAMB Direct Entry Registration Form 2025/2026

JAMB has begun sales of the 2025 JAMB Direct Entry Registration Form 2025/2026. The e-PIN vending and registration will end on Monday, June 10th, 2025. The form costs N6,700 and can only be obtained at State and Zonal JAMB offices nationwide.

In addition to five O’level credits at no more than two sittings, candidates must have at least two relevant subjects at Principal or Advanced level. Acceptable A’LEVEL alternatives include University Degrees, Diplomas, ND/NID, HND, NCE, IJMB, JUPEB, NABTEB-A/NBC/ANTC/GCE, Cambridge A’level, International Baccalaureate, and National Registered Nurse/Midwife certificates. What is Direct Entry?

Direct Entry allows admission into Nigerian universities for candidates with qualifications beyond the SSCE, including:

• National Diploma (ND)
• Nigeria Certificate in Education (NCE)
• Interim Joint Matriculation Board (IJMB)
• Advanced Level (A-level) certificates
• Higher National Diploma (HND)

At DE registration, candidates must provide their previous school’s Registration/Matriculation Number, subjects of qualification, awarding institution, and institution attended. Non-awaiting results candidates must upload A’level qualifications, O’level results, and the DE Registration Template. Awaiting results candidates must upload their Admission Letter and Registration Template.

Cambridge certificates pre-2018 need direct verification, which may take up to 28 days. Statements of results are accepted within 3 years of the award date. UTME to DE upgrades are for candidates awaiting A’level results at UTME registration.

Candidates should check their e-facility profile for admission status and verification updates. Only one registration is allowed; errors should be corrected with JAMB, not through a new application.

JAMB Direct Entry Requirements 2025/2026

For Direct Entry, submit certified copies of your diploma, NCE, or A-levels, a completed JAMB form, your JAMB result slip, certified O’ level results, a birth certificate or age declaration, a local government identification letter, and a recent passport photograph meeting specified criteria.

How to Apply for JAMB Direct Entry

JAMB has started the 2025/2026 UTME registration, with Direct Entry (DE) registration opening from February 28tgh to March 28, 2025. DE candidates must register only at JAMB offices, cannot apply for both DE and UTME in the same year, and can only use the online DE form.

Twelve qualifications are accepted, and statements of results are valid for three years. UTME to DE upgrades are available only if DE results are pending and A-level results were indicated as awaited.

DE registration costs N3,500, plus additional fees for CBT services and bank charges, totaling N6,200 without MOCK or N7,700 with MOCK. A National Identification Number is required.

To register, follow the steps below:

• Create Your JAMB Profile: Send your 11-digit NIN to 55019 or 66019 with the format NIN 00123456789 to receive a confirmation code.
• Log In: Use the confirmation code to log into the JAMB portal.
• Get JAMB e-PIN: Visit an accredited bank, CBT Centre, or embassy (for international candidates) with your confirmation code to purchase the e-PIN.
• Receive Details: After sending your NIN, you will get a 10-digit profile code, your registered name, and the total cost for UTME with or without MOCK and DE.
• Purchase Form: Present the profile code to obtain your form e-PIN, which will be sent to you via text.
• Register: Use the e-PIN at a JAMB accredited CBT centre for registration.

To Retrieve a Lost Profile Code or e-PIN:

1. Profile Code: Send [RESEND] to 55019 or 66019 from your registered phone number.
2. e-PIN: Send [UTMEPIN] or [DEPIN] to 55019 or 66019 for UTME or DE, respectively, from the registered phone number.

How To Convert JAMB UTME to Direct Entry 2025/2026

JAMB has announced the 2024/2025 UTME conversion to Direct Entry, allowing UTME candidates with additional qualifications to apply for admission into the 200-level of their chosen university course. Direct Entry is for those with higher qualifications than the SSCE, including National Diploma (ND), Nigeria Certificate in Education (NCE), IJMB, A-level certificates, and Higher National Diploma (HND).

• To apply for Direct Entry:
• Obtain the Form: Purchase the JAMB Direct Entry form at an accredited center or online through the JAMB e-facility portal.
• Complete Registration: Visit a JAMB registration center to complete your registration.
• Submit Documents: Provide your UTME result slip, O’Level result, additional qualification certificates, JAMB Direct Entry registration slip, and recent passport photos.
• Apply to Universities: Apply directly to your chosen universities according to their Direct Entry procedures.
• Participate in Screening: Attend any required screening or interviews at the university.
• Monitor Status: Check your admission status on the JAMB CAPS portal and the university’s admission portal.
