JAMB Subject Combination for Texile Science 2025/2026

For the course in Textile Science and Technology, the UTME subject combination includes English Language, Mathematics, Chemistry, and Physics. The O’level requirement for UTME candidates is five SSC credit passes, including English, Mathematics, Chemistry, and Physics. ABU, however, requires five O’level credits in these subjects, plus one other Science subject, such as Economics, Technical Drawing, Metalwork, or Woodwork.

For Direct Entry candidates, ABU accepts ‘A’ level passes in Chemistry and Mathematics or Physics, or an ND/HND in Polymer or a related field. ABU’s special consideration includes two ‘A’ level/IJMB passes in Chemistry and Mathematics or Physics, in addition to O’level requirements.

ABU also requires Mathematics, Chemistry, and another Science subject as the subject combination for UTME candidates.
